About Lisa

img_0902Since 2004, Lisa has worked with adults, children and families in a trauma-informed capacity throughout the Bay Area.  Lisa’s background includes private practice, providing therapy and Clinical Supervision to community non-profit agencies and school settings, and working in hospitals and other higher levels of care.

Lisa’s current work in private practice is integrative in nature, where she draws upon both Eastern and Western approaches to address symptoms, issues, patterns and deeper wounds and typically includes insight/process-oriented therapy, *EMDR, CBT, DBT and family systems.  Lisa is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and is also Certified in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Interactive Guided Imagery.

Lisa also provides Group Therapy at The Meadows IOP Center in Silicon Valley where she specializes in Trauma and Addictions.

Lisa continues to study meditation and Conscious Healing with Thomas Huebl and has had a personal meditation practice for 20 years.

*EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – to address trauma, anxiety-related conditions (panic attacks, phobias) and other issues.
